Countdown to Football Season

I will admit (although this will pain Austin) I am a bandwagon fan.  I like my team during football season, and I love them when they are doing well.  Outside of that, I do not care.  Austin on the other hand, lives for football season...so "we" were VERY excited for Labor Day weekend.  The three of us lived weekend to weekend.  Jack and I spent most of the time in Dallas for wedding season, while Austin...you guessed it, STUDIED.  August 3rd was the last day of the Bar and two weeks later we had Madi and David's wedding, then two weeks later the TCU/LSU game.

Double Date (Baby Franklin #2 is my date)

See you as a big brother, Dallas!

My Attempt at Single Parenting

Since Austin was studying for the Bar, I had a goal to keep Jack and myself busy.  It was purely selfish, Baby Franklin #2 was no different than the first one...VERY, VERY ILL FOR 28 weeks.  So, since I was entering the 18th week when Austin disappeared, I had to pump myself up.  Thus, swimming lessons for Jack...WHY?!  It was a four week class, when I signed up at 18 weeks.  I clearly did not put much thought into this plan.  Pregnancy, severe morning, day and night sickness and a swimsuit don't go well together.  So, Austin took a study break twice a week for swim lessons.
Great partners

Believe it or not, this was part of the curriculum.  Jack had to overcome his disadvantage...big belly.

Jack Got the News...

That he was going to be a big brother!  They were suppose to be EXACTLY 19 months apart.  We will get to that later.  But, Jack and I were going to spend the second trimester together while Austin was studying for the Bar.  My thoughts exactly, Jack...

Texas Tech University School of Law Graduate

Although this has been almost seven months, I still get a little giddy at the beginning of semesters.  I wonder if I will ever quit thinking about years in school years?  To celebrate, we had a BBQ in our backyard.  It was ridiculously HOT, but our family came in to town and our dear friends were there!  I am still disappointed in myself.  1. For not getting pictures of the party 2. For not getting pictures of most of our friends and family who came to celebrate.

Apologies for the hiatus, life got busy...Jack started walking and we haven't sat down since.
