Jack's First Trip to Dallas

We made a quick, last minute trip to Dallas this past weekend.  Unfortunately, Austin's mother had some results come back that weren't in our favor, but we took the opportunity to try to brighten her day with some visitors.

Austin, Jack, Mia and myself were packed and loaded within 90 minutes of getting the phone call.  I drove so Austin could study, but he HAD to sit in the back with Jack.  So, Mia rode shotgun.   Needless to say, it was quite the sight, but Jack didn't make a peep!

Eight ducklings were born a week after Jack and have made a home in my parents' backyard.  Notice the ramp my dad built...I don't know why the ducks would ever leave.   

We went to dinner for our first outing without Jack.
